Sungkyunkwan University's International Summer Semester (ISS) is an exceptional academic program designed to immerse participants in the captivating narrative of Seoul, the 600-year-old capital of Korea. Four-Week Course

The ISS features a comprehensive four-week course that not only fosters students' academic initiatives but also expands their knowledge. Through the collaboration of students and faculty from Korea and around the world, participants can explore a variety of intriguing subjects while earning academic credits!

 

Distinguished Faculty from Global Institutions

Renowned professors from SKKU and prestigious overseas institutions teach courses at the ISS. The primary goal of our summer program is to provide a unique platform for in-depth exploration of compelling issues shaping the challenges and opportunities prevalent in today's global society. This objective is achieved through the interdisciplinary approach employed by our esteemed professors and their ability to stimulate thought-provoking analyses of key topics influencing social, economic, and personal development.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Campus of SKKU is situated in the heart of Seoul, one of Asia's largest, safest, and most dynamic cities. As the home to some of Asia's premier universities and a quarter of the entire Korean population, Seoul offers a vibrant backdrop for academic pursuits.
