Dear Students,
greetings from SKKU!
This message is to invite you to consider the following course as your choice during the 2016 SKKU ISS this summer.
Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) and Corporate Leadership by Prof. In Hyeock Lee
This course is designed to help students understand how to manage multinational enterprises (MNEs), the main actor conducing international business (IB) in this global economy. As some of you already know, there are over 60,000 MNEs worldwide at this time. Among them, the U.S. accommodates more than 5,000 foreign firms operating in the country, and there are almost 25,000 U.S. firms operating in overseas markets. This evidence indicates that you are likely to work for an MNE after your graduation in the near future.
This course will be taught by one of the emerging IB scholars from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago in the U.S. The instructor has been planning to teach the course with a balance between theories and cases. In addition to helping you study MNEs, he is also planning to provide you with opportunities for a field trip to a Korean MNE and cultural immersion in Korea food/tea as a part of the course. You can find the information about the instructor and his research/teaching interests from the following link.

We hope this information will be helpful for your making the best course selection for the 2016 SKKU ISS this summer!
