Sungkyunkwan University Office of International Affairs(OIR) is seeking qualified candidates for Visiting Faculty positions. Successful candidates are expected to teach courses in the International Summer Semester (ISS) from June 29 to July 22, 2026.
Approximately 33 courses will be offered during the 2026 ISS program. Please refer to the attached course list for detailed information.

• Final degree certificate • Employment certificate • Consent form for checking sex crimes and reasons for disqualification (attached) • Copy of a valid visa (can be submitted later) • Course syllabus (attached form) |

❍ Application Process
• Application Period: March 6th ~ March 15th (until 16:00 KST), 2026
• Internal evaluation(OIR): March 16th, 2026
※ It includes a basic/major examination and interview, although the interview can be waived.
• Final evaluation(Personnel Committee): March 17th, 2026
※ Acceptance notifications will be sent via email by March 31st, 2026
❍ Qualifications
• Full-time faculty at another university or equivalent eligibility.
• An individual with no disqualifying reasons for appointment according to the Regulations on the Standards, Qualifications of University Faculty, the Private School Act, and SKKU regulations.
• An individual who does not exceed the retirement age as per the Public Educational Officials Act and the Higher Education Act (as of February 28th, 2026, individuals under the age of 65)
• All courses will be taught in English

❍ Precautions
• All documents must be submitted together by 16:00 KST on March 15th, 2026. If any required documents are missing, you may be disqualified.
• If false information is discovered regarding academic background, experience, etc., the acceptance and appointment will be canceled even after the appointment has been made.
• If the grounds for disqualification are identified based on relevant regulations such as the 'Private School Law,' 'Higher Education Law,' and 'Education Public Officials Act,' the appointment will be canceled.
• As a result of the evaluation process, successful candidates may be required to submit additional documents by the designated deadline. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the appointment.
• Foreign applicants must hold a valid visa that permits teaching activities in Korea. The visa must remain valid throughout the appointment period, from the orientation date to the graduation ceremony (June 26–July 24, 2026). Failure to maintain a valid visa throughout this period will result in the cancellation of the appointment.
• Under Article 11 of the 'Act on Fair Employment Procedures,' submitted documents will not be returned and will be destroyed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Personal Information Protection Guidelines after the recruitment process is completed.
• Courses may be canceled due to low enrollment, and the decision to close classes will be made in the first week of June 2026.
