The program aims to develop students' global engagement by providing opportunities to share different perspectives on global issues, to make friends with various cultural backgrounds, and to explore Korea's history, culture, and people. Take advantage of the excellent program we offer. It will help you to expand your mind and change your world.

(1) 4 Week Course

The ISS provides a four week course. By bringing together students and faculty from Korea and around the world, the ISS not only stimulates students’ academic initiatives, but also broadens their knowledge. Take the opportunity to learn about many interesting subjects while receiving academic credits!

(2) Distinguished Faculty from Around the World

Distinguished professors from SKKU and world-renowned institutions overseas teach courses at the ISS. The primary objective of our summer program is to provide a unique platform for sophisticated exploration of compelling issues influencing the problems and opportunities that are prevalent in modern global society. This can ultimately be achieved through the methodology our great professors utilize to solve problems from an interdisciplinary perspective, as well as by stimulating thought-provoking analysis of key topics shaping social, economic and personal development.

(3) Located in Seoul's Ancient Traditional City

The Humanities and Social Sciences Campus of SKKU is located within the traditional city center of Seoul, one of Asia’s largest, safest and most dynamic cities. Seoul is home to some of Asia’s best universities, as well as a quarter of the entire Korean population.

(4) Fun & Dynamic Cultural Experiences

The ISS offers various extra-curricular activities for the students to engage in cross-cultural interactions. By providing exciting programs and field trips such as the Korean Food Festival, Mud Festival, Korean Folk Village Experience, etc., students get to make new friends and have fun with them throughout the whole summer. We are driven to deliver the most interesting, truly exciting, and fun experiences both inside and outside the classroom!
